ULUPUH (Association of Fine Artists of Applied Arts of Croatia), 1975. Softbound. In 1975, Croatia hosted its first international graphic design exhibition, Zgraf, a triennial event that continues today. This catalog for the inaugural exhibition features cover art by Holocaust survivor, painter, and book cover virtuoso Alfred Pal, and includes work by the New Art Practice generation of Croatian artists, including Boris Bu?an, known for his influential detournement-inspired series of logos, in which he replaced iconic brand names Coca-Cola, IBM, BMW with the word, 'art', and his public interventions, including painting the pavement of a Zagreb street blue.

Tight, square, uncreased spine. Clean, unmarked interior. There is some edge-wear and curling to the covers, as well as some areas where the lamination is peeling off. Featured Rare & Collectible.
