A beautifully designed monograph divided into four parts: 1) a portfolio of monochrome plates depicting the Philadelphian architect in action, followed by 2) the largest section, a two-color typeset selection of his writings, lectures, and interviews, leading into 4) memories of Kahn by a variety of his intimates. ranging from Jonas Salk to Moshe Safdie, and, finally, 4) a curation of reproductions of pages from his imaginative notebooks.
Spine is square and tight, but has a prominent cosmetic crease running its length. Former owner name to the inside back cover, but interior is else clean and unmarked. There are some bumped corners and areas of moderate to heavy edge-wear, light rubbing, and subtle creasing to the covers. Featured Rare & Collectible.
