The second novel by Mori, who worked most of his life in his family's San Leandro, California, plant nursery and was interned in an American concentration camp during World War II (Utah's Topaz War Relocation Center, where he served as camp historian and edited a literary journal, Trek). Long out of print, this edition features a fantastic three-color cover collaboration by two Bay Area activists and silkscreen enthusiasts: designer Rupert Garcia, who cofounded Galeria de la Raza and artist Zand Gee, who was director of Kearny Street Workshop.

Tight, square, uncreased spine. Clean, unmarked interior. There are some bumped corners and light to moderate edge-wear, but nice solid copy overall. 131 pp. Featured Rare & Collectible.
