Jong, the daughter of a porcelain-doll manufacturer, became a literary sex symbol in the wake of the book's controversial success, and would later marry the son of Spartacus author and HUAC target Howard Fast.
Tight spine has the very slightest lean. Clean, unmarked interior. Some sunning to the boards, but no other notable wear to the book. Mylar-protected jacket is not price-clipped and has some toning, areas of moderate edge-wear, and a couple small closed tears. 340 pp. Fiction.
