Two memoirs by the well-connected 'People Who Died' singer, both inscribed by the author to the first (promotional) leaf. Carroll worked for Andy Warhol, dated Patti Smith, was mentored by Ted Berrigan and Keith Richards, and, while still a teen, juggled vocations as basketball star and poetry prodigy with a fervent heroin habit. He would later marry the equally well-connected entertainment lawyer Rosemary Carroll, née Klemfuss, who took the iconic photo of the poet covering The Basketball Diaries and who would later assert that Kurt Cobain's suicide note was forged.

Both books have tight, uncreased spines and clean, unmarked interiors. The Basketball Diaries has some bumped corners and moderate edge-wear. No notable wear to Forced Entries. Featured Rare & Collectible.
