The Beat icon's use of AH has been explained in an astonishing variety of ways: fan reports have him saying the initials stood for everything from the name of Swiss LSD innovator Albert Hoffmann to, simply, 'a**hole'. And his writings have stated that 'the Ah! can be said in / normal voice / Ah – no association – no trip', and also that ''"Om" closes out at the end but "Ah" leaves the mouth open, breath goes out'.
Tight, uncreased spine has the faintest slump. Clean, unmarked interior. Some light edge-wear, but no other notable wear. 837 pp. Featured Rare & Collectible.
