The Name Game (The First Complete Warhol Diaries Index)

$50.00 — Sold out

Fame Magazine, September 1989. Saddle-stitched. The short-lived publication Fame, edited by Interview magazine alum Gael Love, was just barely beaten by Spy magazine in a race to publish an after-market, unauthorized index to the ultimate networker's memoir. They compensated for their loss by emphasizing their version's 'completeness', offering tallies of the most-dropped names, categories of celebrities by type, and, of course, an alphabetized guide to 'the new-age Rosetta stone to what was happening downtown and uptown from 1976 to 1987'.

Saddle-stitched binding remains sound. Clean, unmarked interior. Only the gentlest of wear. 23 pp. Featured Rare & Collectible (EB).
