Catching the Big Fish: Meditation, Consciousness, and Creativity

Catching the Big Fish: Meditation, Consciousness, and Creativity

$75.00

Lynch, David. Jeremy P. Tarcher/Penguin, 2006 (1st Ed., 1st Printing). Hardbound. Book design by Claire Vaccaro. Case design by Dave Walker. Lynch began practicing Transcendental Meditation in 1973, the same year his very Lynchian publisher Jeremy Tarcher (husband to ventriloquist Shari Lewis and brother to bonkbuster queen Judith Krantz) shifted focus from celebrity memoirs to New Age spirituality after attending an Esalen retreat. Dedicated to the Maharishi and graced with a striking self-taken author photo, this oddity is, appropriately enough, equal parts self-help guide and autobiography.

Tight, square spine. Clean, unmarked interior. There is a small area of buckling to the front paste-down, most likely due to a production error, but no other notable wear. 177 pp. Featured Rare & Collectible.
