Two cryptozoological classics by two German legends of the field. Zoologist Gerolf Steiner published under pseudonyms including Justus Andereich, Trotzhard Wiederumb, Karl D.S. Geeste, and, here, as Harald Stümpke, where he delineates an extinct order of mammals, complete with his own charming illustrations. And living-dinosaur proponent Ley is better known as a rocketry pioneer who advised Fritz Lang during the filming of Woman in the Moon and is the namesake for a crater on the dark side of the moon.

Clean, unmarked interior. A turned corner and some very gentle shelf-wear, but book is in great shape overall. Jacket has some moderate to heavy chipping and edge-wear. Featured Rare & Collectible.
