Trout Fishing in America

$15.00

Brautigan, Richard. Dell, 1972. Softbound. This iconic cover photo, inextricable from the book's text with its looming Ben Franklin statue, was taken by Erik Weber, who captured the author, along with his muse Michaela Le Grand, posed in San Francisco's Washington Square. Weber was also at the scene in another Bay Area park—Golden Gate—in 1965, documenting the San Francisco Mime Troupe’s famous provocation of the city's finest, who joined them onstage after founder RG 'Ronnie' Davis declared, 'Ladies and gentlemen, we are presenting an arrest.'

Tight, square, uncreased spine. Clean, unmarked interior. Some toning to the pages, light edge-wear, and areas of very subtle creasing to the covers. 112 pp.
