Kandinsky, Wassily and Franz Marc (Eds.). Da Capo Press, 1989. Softbound. Edited and Introduced by Klaus Lankheit. In a 1911 letter from Kandinsky to Marc, the Russian painter conceived of the almanac by writing, 'We will put an Egyptian work beside a small Zeh . . . a Chinese work beside a Rouseau, a folk print beside a Picasso . . .'
