$50.00

Taber, Robert. The Citadel Press, 1970. Cover design by Nick Frank. Dynamic tinted photography to the cover of this scarce edition of the classic study of guerilla warfare, which would go on to become a standard reference on counterinsurgencies for the US military. Journalist Taber, rumored by many to be employed by the CIA, interviewed Fidel Castro in the Sierra Maestra mountains for CBS News in 1957 and may have even crossed paths with Lee Harvey Oswald (both men were members of the Fair Play for Cuba Committee).

Tight, square, uncreased spine. There is a former seller label to the inside back cover and a few instances of former owner notes and underlining throughout text. Some light shelf-wear, including a two-inch crease to front cover. 160 pp. Featured Rare & Collectible.
